Last Band Concert!

It's been a fun 7 years, but I have decided it's time to pass the baton on to someone new. Grade school band has been one of the most rewarding jobs I have had. You start out the new year and the beginners know absolutely nothing. And by Christmas they are playing actual music. Then to see the progress from 4th grade to 6th grade is amazing. If life was a little less hectic I would keep doing it, but things don't seem to be slowing down. I will miss seeing the happy, excited faces of the kids each morning and hearing about their lives (and their families). But it's time to move on. And let some one else have the blessings!
