Snow, Snow and More Snow!
A few weeks ago we got to go on a little trip to help Melissa move from Provo down to Phoenix. It just happened to fall on the weekend of our 28th Anniversary. So it was great get away from school and regular life. We left early one morning to get ahead of a storm that was suppose to be crossing New Mexico, and we did get by it pretty good. But when we got to Monticello, Utah I couldn't belive my eyes. I have never seen so much snow in one place at one time!
The steps up to the temple.

The view from across the street. As you can see there was a ton of snow, and it was still snowing!

This was the view from my side of the truck. We had to just crawl slowly for about 2 hours that morning before it cleared enough to go regular speed.

But it was beautiful!
We got to Provo safe and sound, and then proceeded to pack Melissa's things. Fortunately we decided to take the truck. She had said she didn't have very much stuff. But as you can see....

Another bonus of the trip...we got to come through Flagstaff and see our little Evelyn. Isn't she beautiful. She is growing up so fast!
Rachel and Tony treated us like royalty and we got to spend the night with them. Then it was back into the truck and Melissa's car and head for the Valley of the Sun.
Melissa drove her car, and we took turns. I rode with her for awhile, then she rode with Pop and I drove her car for awhile. It was a good trip.
Knowing that we would all be in the same town for a day, Jessie and Byron planned the baby's blessing for that Sunday. So we got to be there for the blessing of Darren Keith Lunt.
Clayton got tired of taking pictures I guess. Everytime we would say Cheese he would close his eyes. Silly kid!
Here's 4 Generations. Great Grandma Johnson, Grandpa Greer, Jessie and Darren. It was a beautiful day. We were all there except for Devon and Tara who got to stay home and keep the home fires burning. Melissa go moved in and we had a great time. Thanks to all of you!

Glad you got Melissa moved. What is she doing in Phoenix? Where about did she move?
Little Evelyn and Darren are very cute. Love evelyn's eyes.
That snow is nothing! Just heard on the news today that Flagstaff got the most snow than any other city in the US this year! They got 10 feet!!!! More than Syracuse NY even. So I guess anywhere we move will be a break from snow!
