Band is finished for Another Year!

Last night we had our last Band concert for the year. They did an awesome job. I am very proud of them. Being a Beginning Band Director is the most rewarding job. You start the year with students that don't even know how to open their instrument cases, and you watch them progress through out the year until they are playing music! And this years band learned very quickly.

Since Tara broke her arm she hasn't been able to play her clarinet, which made us both sad. She is one of the best. So we moved her into the percussion section and she played the triangle and the maracas. She was happy.

It was a successful evening, and we are glad for the break for the summer.
